    John Wise

    Founder and President
     
    A long-time Chattanooga resident, John Wise has watched this city and its architecture grow. Ever since he worked construction for a former tennis partner during summers, he’s been interested in building.
     
    A graduate of Baylor Preparatory School, John received his Bachelor of Science and Building Science from the School of Architecture at Auburn University. He began his career as an Estimator and Project Manager for a well-known and respected construction company in Columbus, Georgia.
     
    Following that, he joined T.U. Parks Construction in Chattanooga and became one of the company’s lead Estimators and Project Managers. In 1998, he founded his own company, Wise Construction, a full service general construction and commercial/residential architectural firm that’s licensed in the states of Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. He also founded Wise Properties that same year.
     
    The design/build projects that stand on Frazier Avenue and Cherokee Boulevard are his proudest accomplishment. Having an in-house architect has also given him the ability to move and design quickly, bringing jobs in on time and on budget.

    Accountant

    Bob is a native of middle Tennessee, growing up near Nashville. After accounting and business management studies at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Bob began a 40 year career in accounting, business administrative management and general management for companies located in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. Bob's career has covered positions as Controller, Regional Controller or General Manager with both regional and national companies involved in construction, property development, distribution and/or manufacturing. Bob joined Wise in late 2003 as the accountant for Wise construction and Wise Properties and the companies began a sustained growth through the current period and now number a total of 17 companies located in Chattnaooga, Knoxville, Oak Ridge and Bristol.

    Project Superintendent

    Steve was raised in Apison, Tennessee and attended Ooltewah High. He trained as a machinist in trade school during his four years in high school.  Following graduation, Steve went on to complete four years of apprenticeship with Carpenters Local Union 74 here in Chattanooga.  Upon completion of his formal training, Steve began his career as a project superintendent with many local companies.  He has been working with Wise Construction for eleven years and now lives on a farm in Ringgold with his wife.  Steve is the proud father of four and grandfather of two.

    Laura Lambert

    Property Manager 

    Laura was born and raised in Florence, Alabama, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University in December of 2009, with a BSBA in Marketing and BA in Art.  A photography position with Bamber Photography originally brought Laura to Chattanooga from Auburn; she enjoys doing commercial photography work part-time with the Bambers.  Soon after moving into a Wise Properties apartment, she began leasing for the company, a task that quickly escalated into a full-time career of leasing, clerical work, and resident retention.  Laura has grown to love the business and [almost] all that it entails!
